When asked for a writer recommendation recently for a topic I don't specialize in, I realized there is a great need for organization in the world of writing. Since I can't tackle the whole world, I thought I could at least organize as many writers as I can. This is the end result and always a work in progress.
This directory is a very basic, free resource for all webmasters and serious writers. (Writers, I'll answer your questions over here.) It is not complete, nor will it ever be as there is a constant influx of new writers online.
Each writer you'll find in eWritersWorld has completed a simple profile containing the information you need to determine which writer is the best match for your purposes based on skill, background and price. Writers are arranged in categories based on their specialties or preferences for subject matter, but most are willing to take on topics outside of these niches. Of course, an expert in your niche will bring you more creativity and depth in your finished product.
Each profile will give you contact information for the writers on their own websites or through Digital Point threads and profiles. This website is not a contact point for transactions, just an information resource.
I encourage you to leave experienced-based comments on the profiles of writers you've worked with. Understand that the comments will be moderated and "He's the best!" sounds too much like, "He's my best friend!" to be posted. Likewise, "He's a jerk!" sounds like you two had a bad first date. Try writing something that will actually help others make a decision.
I do not facilitate any transactions nor do I make any money from webmasters or writers through this site, although you'll find my profile listed alongside other writers in my respected niches. |
